We always welcome your support and interest in PDP-related events and campaigns. If you're interested in keeping Downtown vibrant whether it be spring, summer, fall or winter—we want to hear from you!

E-mail PDP@DowntownPittsburgh.com with "Volunteer Inquiry" in the subject line. We'll keep your information on file for future events and campaigns where we need volunteer assistance.

Current Opportunities:

Volunteer Saturdays—Help Keep Downtown Clean and Beautiful! Through Fall 2011

 PDP Volunteer Saturdays are a way for community members, local business, and civic-minded individuals to volunteer their time toward making Downtown Pittsburgh a better and cleaner place to live, work, and play. Volunteers work alongside the PDP Clean and Street Teams on beautification projects all over Downtown Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include such tasks as: pulling weeds, landscaping, removing litter and debris, painting, and other tasks that require bending, squatting, and lifting. The Team is flexible and will work with groups on their project choice.

We're seeking folks with landscape and general maintenance experience but any volunteer willing to learn and put forth a good effort will be considered!

Light Up Night® 2011

Volunteer for one of Downtown Pittsburgh's premier events! The 51st Light Up Night® celebration kicks-off the holiday season with an evening of festive fun on Friday, Nov. 18.

We're seeking enthusiastic individuals with a knowledge of Downtown Pittsburgh (navigating the city, providing directions to restaurants, shops, etc.) to provide event assistance during the week of Light Up Night®. Responsibilities include brochure distribution during high-volume traffic times on Monday - Thursday, manning the PDP Information Booth on Friday, Nov. 18, directing crowds to event locations, answering questions about Downtown, etc.
